A New Season of Growth Starts Now
There is something about a packed calendar that feels like possibility. After a strong start to 2026, iSE is heading into the second half of the year with a full programme of free events created for people who are building something that matters.
Whether you are just starting out, looking to grow, or trying to figure out your next move, there is a seat at the table for you. Every event we run is free, inclusive and built around what West Midlands businesses and social enterprises actually need.
Why Showing Up Matters More Than Ever
The West Midlands is home to one of the most diverse and driven entrepreneurial communities in the UK. But access to quality business support, funding knowledge and peer connection is not always equal.
That is exactly what iSE exists to change.
Research consistently shows that founders who engage with business support communities are significantly more likely to survive their first three years. A 2023 report by the Federation of Small Businesses found that small businesses with access to peer networks and expert advice reported 20% higher confidence in their decision making. For social enterprises specifically, the Social Enterprise UK State of Social Enterprise report found that 40% of social enterprises cite lack of business skills as a key barrier to growth.
Events are not just networking. They are the moments where the right conversation changes everything.

This Is More Than an Event. It Is Your Community.
iSE is not just an events provider. We are a community of founders, changemakers, community leaders and purpose driven people who believe business can be a force for good.
Every event is a chance to be in a room, virtual or in person, with people who understand the challenges you are facing. People who are building things that matter, just like you.
We have supported businesses and social enterprises across the West Midlands for over two decades. The support is free. The community is real. And the events are designed to give you something you can actually use.
