She Beasts CIC began with a simple, powerful idea…that women and marginalised people deserve support that comes from genuine understanding, not buzzwords. Founded in 2021 by Sadie Jones, whose own life journey includes surviving domestic abuse and early motherhood, the organisation has become a trusted place of belonging for those who need it most. Sadie, now recognised as the MBCC Health & Wellbeing Champion 2025, combines her professional skills with lived experience to offer community programmes rooted in care, respect, and real‑world impact.

People at the Heart of Change

Together with cofounder Big Stygs, Sadie has created a community space that doesn’t just offer activities…it offers connection, purpose and dignity. Participants who have experienced domestic abuse, exclusion from education, prison transitions or violence aren’t treated as statistics but they’re supported as people with potential and the right to a safer, fulfilled life. The centre’s credibility comes from the people who run it: individuals whose backgrounds reflect the very challenges they help others overcome.

Evidence That Close Support Works

Safe, community‑led support can make a measurable difference. According to the Office for National Statistics, one in four women in the UK will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime – a reality that underlines the ongoing need for initiatives like She Beasts that respond with compassion and practical support rather than judgement.

More Than Fitness – It’s Belonging

At She Beasts, fitness, wellbeing and mindset coaching are part of something bigger: they help people feel seen, capable and supported. Whether it’s confidence building sessions for women, engaging youth workshops, or wellbeing programmes that boost energy and resilience, every activity is grounded in community and trust. This isn’t about ticking boxes…it’s about helping people stand in their own strength and build meaningful connections.
