On 25th February 2025, Birmingham’s Millennium Point will come alive with a powerful gathering of changemakers and allies, championing gender equality at the International Women’s Day Conference & Exhibition. iSE is proud to be part of this #Movement, and will be hosting a panel of inspiring women, who have been first in their fields on many occasions. Talking candidly and with livid experience of Women Delivering Social Impact, throughout the whole of the UK.

Amplifying voices, challenging biases, and creating spaces where women and allies can unite for a more equitable future. Our Panel: Women Delivering Social Impact
iSE’s panel brings together phenomenal women who have paved the way for change:
Jakira Khanam – iSE Strategic Lead & expert in developing and delivering multi-country social impact programmes.
Cllr Sharon Thompson – Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council and the first ethnic minority female to hold this position in the city.
Joanne Anderson – Former Mayor of Liverpool & the first Black woman to be a directly elected mayor in the UK.
Henriette Breukelaar – Regional Director of the Canal & River Trust, Former CEO of Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP).

This event is split into two key experiences.
Ticketed Conference – a look into leadership, equity, and empowerment, featuring thought provoking panels on women in tech & AI, neurodiversity, funding, and breaking unconscious bias.
Free to Attend Expo – Open to all, this space will host exhibition stands and engaging talks for individuals, small businesses, and young women looking for inspiration and direction.
